Around 10 lacs people participate from all over the
U.P. and other states in the Ijtima every year. About 1170 Nikahs get solemnized during
the Ijtima when the elders of the Tableeghi Jamaat in a simple manner in the
spirit of Islam after Asir (evening) prayers. About 280 four months Jamat move from here Alhumdulillah.
The sermon (Bayan) delivered by Maulana Ahmad Laat Sahab in
the last 2012 Ijtema, Maulana Shaukat Sahab, Maulana Liyaqat Sahab, Maulana
Jaseem Ahmad and Maulana Shareef Ahmad also delivered sermon.
A tented city has come up in Bijnor as people in hordes from
all over the Uttar Pradesh and neighbouring states. The trickle which started
on “Juma” (Friday) picked up slowly and gradually and after Isha (night)
